Children of the new ten family homes at Kusitawi village are enjoying every bit of their stay.  This has made them cope well in this new set up. They are receiving more individual care and attention from their respective housemothers.

They have been playing, cooking and attending to kitchen gardens for each family house under guidance from the staff.   Houses on ground floor have names derived from animals, namely cheater elephant lion leopard and buffalo. Houses in entire upper floors have theirs derived from birds namely flamingo, dove, ostrich, eagle and butterfly.

This enormous efforts and resources that have been put in place to achieve this family houses model are expected to be of great benefit to these children on their stay here.  Playing has also been put into consideration as the new playing equipments like swings; see saw, slides and merry go round are in place for them to enjoy their precious play.  Ball players have not been left behind as an all inclusive pitch of volleyball, basketball and soccer is there for them too.
