Watoto Wenye Nguvu International Orphan Care (W.W.N I.O.C) is a non-governmental organization which was founded in the year 2004 by Madam Elizabeth Muthoni Gitau with the intention of supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Kilimambogo area. It was later registered in the year 2005 by the Kenyan government after the founding intentions were validated. In its journey of existence Watoto Wenye Nguvu I.O.C has bolstered its empowerment support to Orphans & Vulnerable Children (O.V.C) through various interventions which includes residential, education, health, hygiene, nutrition, economic empowerment, psycho social support, shelter & care, house rehabilitation, income generating projects.

Our vast experience in working with the community has taught us that through education our children can be empowered to successfully change their lives. In order to identify the pressing needs in each intervention our staff carry out thorough need assessment exercise to ascertain school and community needs.
