  • Rescue – Rescue of extreme vulnerable women from distress for 6 months at Kusitawi rehabilitation and children Home.
  • Rehabilitation – offer detoxification, treatment and counselling services to the traumatized rescued children.
  • Resocialization – entails group talks, games and talent show, life-skills talks
  • Reintegration – Reuniting the rescued women and children back to their families through social inquiry, home visit’s, family conferencing, reintegration.
  • Parenting – offer positive parenting to the teenage women on responsible child raising modalities.
  • Nutrition – entails training on preparation of balanced diets, kitchen garden preparations and healthy lifestyles.
  • Life skills – talents identification, socialization, church and family set up interaction.
  • Empowerment – Entrepreneurship, dress making, food and beverage production, hair and beauty, bead making, soap making, baking and pastry, small scale farming, basic record keeping.
  • Follow Ups – school enrolment for the children, guided business monitoring for seed capital , calls and family conferencing, Feedbacks.
    • Denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are beguiled and demoralized by the charms pleasure moment so blinded desire that they cannot foresee the pain and trouble.

    Breaking the Silence: Women’s Mental Health Awareness
    In our quest to address food security in our community we put much effort in empowering as many households as possible through training and demonstration. When the community is trained on small scale farming expect a future with food security in mind. The weather is very unpredictable which poses a challenge to many small scale farmers. We sensitize our beneficiaries with kitchen gardening, pest & disease control and water conservation skills. There is also a scheduled follow up to ensure implementation is well achieved. Many beneficiaries we work with are mostly small scale farmers and benefit from our training immensely.

    Small Scale Farming Trainings
    We had the honor of hosting 47 graduates at Kusitawi village for a celebration of their successful academic and skills acquisition tenure in their various institutions of learning. We had three recent graduates namely Josephat Mwendo degree in computer science from Muranga University, Agnes Mbula degree in natural resources management from Egerton University and Priscilla njoki degree in electrical engineering from technical university of Kenya. Diploma level we had one graduate Rose Wayua who recently graduated with a diploma in general agriculture from Nyandarua institute of science and Technology. We also recognized and awarded students who have done grade tests in our internal vocational courses. Fashion and design class, we had 14, hair and beauty class we had 11 and in food production class we had 17. It is these achievements that make a difference in our children lives and community. We wish them all the best in their careers and future endeavors.
